It’s been a little while since I’ve posted a full look, I’m glad to be back and I’ll try to not be away so long again! The problem I have is in my life I’m very very sick. Everyday is a struggle to get out of bed and then even then it’s agony, fatigue, sickness yadda yadda yadda. I try not to cross over with my illness and my makeup as I do one to take my mind off the other but sometimes I need to slow down and remember that I am very poorly and I can cut myself some slack! I’ve also got a toddler and husband so sometimes my hobby takes a back seat! So sorry If I disappear but I will be back!
So this look came about because I hadn’t used my urban decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in electric in a while and I tend to get a tummy ache from missing it so much! It is the kind of colour that calls to me and really demands that I pick it up. So this whole look was based around the one eyeliner pencil.
The urban decay eyeliners are fantastic. I’ve never found a eyeliner which has such amazing colour payoff. I’m a colour addict and they do colours that warm my soul! Especially shades like electric, asphyxia and Woodstock. They are perfection! As well as looking awesome they also apply like a dream and are a pain in the butt to remove, which is what I need in a eyeliner! If I get caught in a romantic scene where the warm summer rain is pouring and I fall into a hunks arms I don’t want my eye makeup running down my face!
So whenever I use these eyeliners I always take a second to recommend them. They are the bomb.
I also got to use my brand new MAC lipstick, kinda sexy. I did a quick review of this yesterday and I will say again…it’s beautiful and I don’t know how I lived my life before it! It’s a matte spiced brown/pink shade and it’s totally perfect for the trends right now and it’s super pretty. It teamed up with the blue eyeliner smashingly and I was fully chuffed! It was like the look was meant to be!
When my lipstick arrived yesterday MAC added a little sample of their false lash mascara. I’ve never tried a MAC mascara before and I was very excited to try it out. I’m a huge MAC nerd and having a new toy to play with made me feel like Christmas had come 2 weeks early! It has quite a large brush and normally I find using large brushes a issue and it makes me get clumps but this was different! My lashes were big, in line and almost natural. They didn’t look like they had tonnes of product but they looks fantastic! I will be buying the full size for sure! And I’m a fuss pot when it comes to mascara!
